Hungarian artists, inventions and wine excellences met in Toronto on the 18th of July 2014.
Hosted by the Todmorden Mills Art Gallery, to accompany István Fujkins The Art of Music Vision exhibition opening and its side event the Music Vision show presented on a Hungarian invention, the Laser Harp, a Tokaj Wine Conference was organized. It was a real unrivalled event, exposing in a unique aspect the symbiosis of world-wide recognized Hungarian art, culture and wine.
The place was a novelty for the wines. Following the several events already held at the Tokaj Wine Boutique Restaurant and different convention centers in Toronto, we had this unique possibility the present Szent Tamás Winerys Dry by Tokaj, Sweet by Tokaj and Furmint prepared for the Canadian market, as well as Patricius Winerys Furmint and popular late harvest, Katinka, in an art gallery, to its visitors and public.
Representatives of the organizers, the Vinum Tokaj International and Vinum Tokaj Canada has been constantly searching the possibilities to reach different consumer groups with the Tokaj wines, to contribute to their reputation and recognition and after all, to facilitate the increase of their sales on the North-American market.
Tokaj is a place and the Tokaj wines represent such an unequalled product line that their message needs to be taken to all wine lovers throughout the world. To support this process a promotional film will be shot about the Tokaj Wine Region in the near future in Hungary. Stacey Simon - producer and presenter of Stacey Simon Randezvous, a show to present the wine regions of Canada spoke enthusiastically about the project.
