Our last trip to the US offered the possibility to visit and have a wine tasting with our friends in Sonoma with whom we cherish a few years long relationship.
Following the visit of Tom Blackwood, Director of Retail Operations at the Boisset Collection and General Manager of Buena Vista Winery to Hungary in June this year, this time we had the chance to present the newly released wines of Szent Tamás Winery and continue our discussions on some possible ways of co-operation as partner wineries.
Our campaign to be launched on the 1st of January 2017, declaring it the “Year of Furmint” will open a new perspective and bring forth some new opportunities in the business relations with our US partners.
Buena Vista Winery with its rich, delicious heritage as the first premium, and certainly the most colorful-of all of the wineries in California, with its Hungarian ties through its founder, the self-proclaimed “Count of Buena Vista,” Ágoston Haraszthy, could play a distinct role in strengthening the relationship between Hungarian & American wineries and besides its unending commitment to Californian wines could also take up some of our activities planned in the US with the Hungarian Furmint.
